Where Dance meets Devotion… Bones meet Honey, & the Voice is set Free.
Dance, movement, ritual and song - tapping into the wisdom of the bones and letting the voice drip like honey…
Honey & Bone is a women’s experiential gathering, an immersive day to receive life’s sweetness through movement, embodied voice, and ritual. A space to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with yourself, each other, and the rhythms of the natural world.
The Invitation
Robbie Fear and Rebecca Bee invite you to Solscape in Whāingaroa (Raglan), at the foot of Karioi Maunga, for a full-day immersion honouring the seasonal shift from Summer into Autumn. Together, we turn inward, nourishing the body, receiving the nectar for this seasonal shift.
This is a space to gather as women.
To reflect on what has been, and open to what is to come.
To ground into the bones of the earth…
To listen for her song.
To move, to express, and to bee.
Through dance, movement, ritual and song, we listen to the bones and let the voice pour like honey.
-
Through guided practices, we explore the connection between body, voice, and ritual:
• Guided somatic movement and dance, becoming living art
• Embodied song and voice activation as strength and devotion
• Ritual practices to honour seasonal change and personal reflection
• Connection to the land, soma, and each other, we are stronger together
• A nourishing lunch, tea and snacks (with a view over the ocean!)
We work with the understanding that song, dance, and ritual are ancient tools, supporting emotional clearing, renewal, and a deepened sense of belonging through life’s transitions and cycles.

Inspired by the mythology of the Melissae, the ancient Bee priestesses, the tenders of the sacred hives, we explore themes of community, devotion, and the collective feminine voice. Like bees within a hive, each of us carries a unique expression, contributing to a shared hum of connection and intelligence.
“With golden honey on the tongue, the gift of sages and seers, the Bee Priestesses, the Melissae, the daughters of the hive, were the chief pollinators of Life. Goddesses, who through the alchemy of their bodies create the sweetest of golden nectars from our Mother Earth’s bloom and flower”. -
Robbie Fear (Somatic and Narrative Therapist) and Rebecca Bee Gunson (Ceremonial musician and doula) bring years of experience holding women’s spaces, guiding embodiment practices, and supporting others in reconnecting to their essence and inner knowing.

Full price is $150, with a small number of discounted spaces available for students and mothers of young children, because we believe this work should be accessible to women in different seasons of life. Step away from the noise and into a day of connection, expression, and remembrance.
